Spain - Roman Walls of Lugo The walls of Lugo were built in the later part of the 2nd century to defend the Roman town of Lucus. The entire circuit survives intact and is the finest example of late Roman fortifications in western Europe.  Espagne - Rempart romain de Lugo Le rempart de Lugo fut construit a la fin du IIe siècle pour défendre la ville romaine de Lucus. Tout le circuit demeure intact et constitue le plus bel exemple de fortifications romaines tardives en Europe occidentale. Todo el circuito permanece intacto y constituye el mas bello ejemplo de fortificaciones romanas tardías en Europa occidental.  Spanien - Römische Stadtmauer von Lugo Die Stadtmauer von Lugo wurde am Ende des 2ten Jahrhunderts gebaut, um die römische Stadt Lucus zu verteidigen. Die ganze Umwallung ist unberührt übrig geblieben und bildet das schönste Beispiel später römischer Befestigungen in Westeuropa.
